A WALKING RETREAT IN THE KZN MIDLANDS

13-15 October 2023. Glengarry Holiday Farm, Kamberg, KZN Midlands

How will I know if this retreat is for me?
In your personal life, in your career, in your role as a leader:

  • Are you feeling a need to pause and reflect?
  • Are you craving a little stillness and “me time”?
  • Are you needing to be energized and refreshed?
  • Do you have a desire to plug into nature?
  • Are you yearning to feel alive and whole-hearted again?
  • Would you like to develop some practical tools that you can take back into your daily life?

If you resonate with any of the above, then please join us for 2 ½ days of being refreshed, renewed, and revitalised.

Clarity on what you are saying YES to?

  • A weekend of commitment to yourself; to personal well-being and expansion.
  • An ignition and nurturing of the senses.
  • An invitation to pause and reflect.

What would it take to say YES to deep breaths of fresh mountain air, life-giving conversations, and precious reflection time with a commitment to feeling fully alive?

At the foot of the majestic uKhahlamba Mountains, cradled by supportive processes, we will take a journey that will refresh, renew, and revitalize us through the transformative power of walking in nature with a group of like-minded people.

Karen McKenzie

Karen McKenzie

Meeting Karen McKenzie for the first time was an instant connection to a fellow traveller on the journey of life. Her wisdom is tattooed into the words she speaks and the warmth she generates as a connector and a healer. Grounded in her practice Karen brings laughter, love and compassion into every space she is in.

Karen has a light touch in every conversation she participates in, but don’t be fooled. Her lived wisdom comes from her vast knowledge about neuro linguistic programming and her vast corporate experience that has spanned more than 24 years. Karen is a community builder, process facilitator and a learner leader. Add to this her deeply spiritual journey of self-discovery and her quest to stay connected to what has heart and meaning with others, herself, this planet, and God.

Putting this together we have a person who has a presence that is palpable. She uses that presence to work in the moment with a sense of curiosity and wonder of what could happen when we are in a room together following the same quest-To be more compassionate and caring human beings that care for each other and to lead a more fulfilling life.

Dr. Rama Naidu

Dr. Rama Naidu

When you spend time with Dr Rama Naidu, you will feel a deep sense of being in the presence of a guru. With decades of global experience as a process facilitator and designer, Rama has honed his craft into something that is often described as profoundly life changing. Shot through with absolute integrity of purpose and a solidity that arises from his own spiritual journey, he draws on a wide array of influences and techniques from both ancient and modern wisdom.

His work is steeped in authenticity and the wisdom of a man who has participated in complex processes ranging from the transition of South Africa into democracy, the healing of fractured communities and journeys of personal mastery with corporate executives. He is gifted with the ability to craft masterful questions that enable people to shift from a place of stuckness to abundance and possibility. He does this effortlessly and ‘egolessly’, getting out of the way so that individuals and teams can do their own work.

Rama is a gift to all who experience him and his work.

Justin Foxton

Justin Foxton

When Justin Foxton walks into a room, you are promised an invitation into a courageous, authentic and thought-provoking conversation. He does so with ease, gentleness, sensitivity and a deep appreciation of each individual’s unique contribution to the present. Masterfully crafting experiences, processes and conversations where one can safely step into spaces of connection and being co-creators of a community that says, “you matter”.

Justin sees the gaps in society, in our humanity and helps us build the bridges necessary to restore “justness” and truly hear each other’s hearts, as we often meet in our difference and division of race, class, gender, schooling and faith.

A seasoned speaker, facilitator, and acclaimed column writer of “Stop Crime Say Hello”, he is a passionate advocate of an exciting, colourful and abundant future in South Africa, distinctly different from the stories that trap us in our past. He encourages individuals to bravely “come as they are with what is in their hands” and connect through dialogue, anchored in a genuine curiosity of each other; dreams, aspirations, grapples and gripes. Justin, through years of lived experience, being a mouthpiece in journalism and industrial theatre, can skillfully bring people together. Often uniting their voices, resources and networks in causes way beyond that of their own life, such as baby abandonment, child care, equality in education and peace as a way of being in the world.

An elixir, guaranteed to instill bravery, kindness, vulnerability and consciously scanning the world for what there is to be celebrated, that is the gift you can honour yourself with when saying yes to doing life with Justin.
